The South Okanagan Skating Club is based out of the Oliver arena and was established in 1969. Over the decades our club has been run by volunteer efforts. We support all skills sets and ages. We encourage all age groups from the young at life to the young at heart. We are always looking for new skaters, volunteers, and board members to come share ideas, have fun, and learn about all things skating.
Our Mission
The BC/YK Section of Skate Canada is dedicated to the principals of enabling every British Columbian to participate in skating throughout their lifetime for Fun, Fitness and/or Achievement.
The BC/YK Section is also dedicated to those athletes in pursuit of excellence.
We provide programs and opportunities that develop high performance skills for skating and life.
